BULL // MARCH 15 - APRIL 15, 2015

“A wonderfully intimate new theatre, a razor blade of a play, an absolutely perfect cast and a picture-perfect production.”— Toronto Star

THE COAL MINE THEATRE PRESENTS:

BULL

Written by Mike Bartlett

Nasty, short and brutish, BULL is a razor-sharp, a-morality play about cutthroat office politics and Darwinian brutality in the workplace.

Like an episode of The Apprentice, three colleagues must compete for two jobs in a winner takes all scenario. Tony and Isobel deploy every trick in the bully’s rule-book, and with a killer mentality move quickly to emasculate, humiliate, and undermine their co-worker Thomas.

REVIEWS

“… [a] horrifying story, fine acting and well chosen costumes.

— Mooney on Theatre

Diana Bentley is brilliant as a bully that you love to hate; her ruthless and conniving portrayal of Isobel creates a tense environment that brews up rage within the audience.
